Hotels Near the University of Arkansas

A Razorback Landmark

Steeped in Razorback lore, the Inn at Carnall Hall is more than just a hotel; it's a living testament to the university's history. Built in 1905 as the state’s first women’s dormitory, it stands proudly beside Old Main, the university’s oldest building. Once brimming with female students, Carnall Hall was part of a time when strict social separation meant would-be sweethearts communicated by leaving each other love notes on a rock, now called “Spoofer’s Stone.” From dorm and fraternity house to academic hub and, finally, hotel near the University of Arkansas, our Inn’s spirit has endured, offering a unique blend of hospitality and Razorback pride.
